Toddler learning to play the piano

Piano lessons for toddlers

At The British Music Academy, we do not only want to teach young children how to play the piano but also introduce them to the fun and enjoyment of music.

At a very young age, developing interest and love for music is more important than achieving set goals and reaching pick performances.

Below the age of 5, children are generally too young to understand certain concepts, so it is essential to encourage them to react to sounds, rhythms and tempi before starting their traditional piano education.

At The British Music Academy, we exclusively work with highly trained piano instructors who have a vast experience in teaching toddlers and a real passion for doing so.

Our piano lessons for very young children are both engaging and educational as knowing how to stimulate them and develop their interest in piano playing is key to their future piano lessons.

From the very start, they will discover how the keyboard works and learn how to associate keys with sound without having the pressure to perform.

Their education will be conducted via musical games, which will enhance their music appreciation and aural training.

Getting acquainted with the piano at a very early stage is undoubtedly an excellent skill which will accompany their children for the rest of their life!
